Why Lab Reports Matter

3rd Party Lab Testing

In order to select safe, effective products, here are some recommendations and a set of standards we follow. A major aspect of any Cannabis brand we look at is whether they provide Third Party Testing. The patient should confirm the lab administering the testing is not associated with the company.

COAs, or Certificate of Analysisis a document from an accredited laboratory that shows you the chemical makeup of your product. A CBD COA Certificate of Analysis, shows the quantity of various cannabinoids found in a product, along with terpene presence and possible contaminants.

Where can I find lab reports?

Lab Testing is extremely important and all cannabis companies should make these documents easily accessible. You will find these reports available in a variety of ways. Some companies provide a database with lab testing results and some require you to reach out directly.

Some states in the USA require a QR code assigned to marketing labels. This allows the patient to scan the image and be directly linked to lab testing.
